Kniphofia rooperi

Kniphofia rooperi

Many of the best torch liles, or kniphofia, flower at the end of summer and into early autumn. These are two of them, the species, K. rooperi, and the hybrid, 'Percy's Pride.'

This photo shows part of our Mother stock of 'Percy's Pride.' We grow them in rows that are ten feet long, spaced six inches apart in the row, with four feet between rows. The Mother plants are replanted every two years.
