With its lustrous, green leaves that have creamy marbling, Veronica gentianoides 'Variegata' isn't frequently seen at nurseries. It is semi-evergreen and low to the ground, growing into a slowly widening clump that carries short spires of beautifully blue flowers in early summer. To grow well it needs soil that will not dry out during the heat of summer. And filtered light, or placed where it receives morning sun only. USDA Zones 4 - 9 in the West, Zones 4 - 7 in the East. |
