Spires of pure white 1½-inch wide flowers show in late spring on this unusual perennial. It is undemanding and easy to grow in a garden. In its native home of northern Portugal and nearby Spain, it grows in damp meadows, marshes and open woodlands. Flower stems reach 2½ to 3 feet. USDA Zones 7 - 9. |
