Aster novi-belgii 'Tiny Tot' is a very dwarf form of New York aster. Its height is half a foot, growing bushy, in a tight rounded bun. From late summer into October small purplish daisy-like flowers will cover the plant. The species name, novi-belgii, derives from 'New Belgium,' that was an early name for New York. USDA Zones 3 - 8, to Zone 9 in the West.
