•  Also known as the lily-of-the-Nile, it flowers profusely, especially if given a rich diet of fertilizer in spring and once it has reached full size
•  This agapanthus is more cold tolerant than an evergreen agapanthus, because it is deciduous, with no sign of any growth above ground in winter

The medium blue, star-like flowers in rounded heads will bloom for many weeks in July and August. The deciduous leaves are very distinct, having dark violet blue/black bases. This is one of the finest hardy agapanthuses available today. When it goes dormant in the winter, all signs of the plant above ground disappear. Cold hardy to USDA Zone 6.
