This low growing ornamental onion has sky blue flowers in summer. With its narrow leaves and low height, it is suitable for a rock garden or planted with other low growing flowers at the front edge of a bed. Once established, it is undemanding. It is also known as Allium kansuense. USDA Zones 6 - 8 in the East, Zones 6 - 9 in the West.
